Expression of Interest (EoI) as

Implementing Partner (IP) for the She Leads Programme

 

 Objective of the She Leads Programme/Consortium

The She Leads consortium is a five-year (2021-2025) strategic partnership between Terre des Hommes, Plan International, Defence for Children/ECPAT, African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. The strategic objective of the She Leads programme is to increase the sustained influence of Girls and Young Women (GYW) on decision-making and the transformation of gender norms in formal and informal institutions. This will be achieved through the attainment of three main outcomes:

1. Enhanced collective action and activism by GYW in a gender-responsive civil society.
2. Increased acceptance of positive social gender norms.
3. Political institutions at all levels enable meaningful participation of GYW in decision-making.

The programme will be implemented in Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Jordan, Lebanon, Mali, Liberia, Ghana and Sierra Leone, as well as having Africa regional, Middle East regional and International programme components. The Ghana Consortium is made up of Plan International Ghana, Defence for Children International, Ghana and Women Aspire Network (FEMNET Ghana).

Defence for Children International, Ghana is seeking to recruit women/girls- led organizations advocating for the rights of women and girls to implement the She Leads programme in the Ashanti region of Ghana. The aspirant organizations must believe in and adhere to the She Leads Guiding Principles.

1. Interested women led, and girls-led, organization may request for a copy of the TOR by sending a mail to the following address: info@dci-ghana.org and copy lagyakwa@dci-ghana.org from 21^st to 31^st December 2020
2. Closing date for receipt of Expression of Interest is 8^th January, 2021 at 5.00 pm GMT.
3. Expression of Interest should be submitted through the above emails.
